Our Company
Alloy Computer Products LLC, trading as and known to it's customers as Alloy, is the American subsidiary of Alloy Computer Products Pty Ltd, the long established and respected Australian manufacturer and distributor of networking and communications equipment. Alloy was established in 2009, and is based in Sunnyvale, California. We have brought the same energy and commitment to excellence to our operations in the U.S. market that have served our parent company so well in the Australian IT industry since 1985. Alloy supplies and supports the Alloy range of enterprise networking products in the United States and the wider North American market, and also represents many of the vendor partners with whom Alloy has worked so successfully with in the Australasian region. Over the relatively short period of time that Alloy has been active, we have established a reputation as a trusted partner of many American ITC industry companies, and through our Resellers we are a trusted supplier to a diverse cross-section of American companies.
Alloy has maintained a focus on those areas of operation in which our wider company group has developed high levels of expertise. We know what we do best. Consumers of IT products have come to recognize the distinctive quality of Alloy products across the areas of enterprise networking, industrial communications and IP communications. Alloy has become recognized as an organization which provides excellent support services in all facets of the company's operations, and as a supplier who keeps abreast of the latest technological developments, offering 'leading edge' products to our customers as they become available.

Our Customers
Alloy's direct customer base is our ITC Reseller channel. We have built up a network of Reseller partners across most American States - and we continue to attract new Reseller partners to our channel. Alloy also works closely with a growing number of Reseller partners in other countries across the North American region.
Alloy's U.S. Reseller network features many well-known names from the ITC industry and comprises industry players of all types, including Systems Integrators, VAR's, Vertical Marketers, e-Tailors, IT Consultants, and Service Providers. Alloy directly supports our Reseller channel, who in turn supply and support consumers who utilize our products and solutions.
Although IT Resellers are our direct customers, we have a great deal of contact with enduser consumers. We meet people frequently at IT events around the region, and our website generates high levels of contact. We frequently discuss real life projects and solutions with enduser consumers - there's no better way of keeping aware of the demands and needs of businesses. Alloy works closely with individual industry partners and their customers, often to analyse the optimal solution for a specific IT or IP telephony project. The organizations that use our products are very diverse, and include federal and state government departments as well as companies from the banking, transportation, resources, energy, utilities, manufacturing, retail, education and healthcare sectors. The one common thing that all of these companies recognize is the value and quality of the products we supply and the way our channel looks after them, the consumer.
Our Technology
The heritage of our Australian parent company, Alloy Computer Products, is in networking, and has been since the inception of the company in 1985. Over this time Alloy have developed a great depth of expertise and experience in network and communication technologies as they have been introduced and developed. Alloy is generally among the first to release new technologies to Australasian consumers, and Alloy in turn makes available these innovative products to North American customers.
As new technologies have been introduced (particularly with the ever growing importance of IP networks and the Internet), whole new classes of applications have become essential business tools. As a result, corporate network resources are under more pressure than ever before. We have kept pace with new technical innovations, releasing product lines designed for today's networks and systems. Alloy is firmly centred upon two related technology areas: Enterprise Networking and IP Communications.
Our Products
Alloy offers a comprehensive range of enterprise networking products - including our own Alloy brand and those from vendor partners such as Edge-Core. Indeed, we have one of the largest vendor product catalogs of networking products currently available. We are particularly strong in fibre optic networking , network switches, and media conversion systems. Alloy brand fibre optic standalone and chassis based media converter systems are used by a range of large customers, including a number of federal government departments. Our Power over Ethernet fibre to copper Media Converters are also in widespread use by both private and public enterprises, especially where converged data and voice network systems need to support long cable ranges and attached hardware devices need to be secure from physical intrusion.
Alloy has been a key supplier of VoIP and business grade IP communications products since the inception of the company. Our Reseller network supplies latest generation IP Telephone systems to customers of all types and size throughout America. The IP communications revolution continues and has revolutionized communications for organizations of all types and sizes. Alloy, through key vendor partners including Epygi, Edge-Core, Cyberdata, Yealink, and snom, offers a comprehensive range of software and hardware IP-PBX platforms, VoIP ISDN and FXO gateways, IP voice and video phones, IP-DECT phone systems, IP Paging, Intercom, door Entry, and Endpoint Notification systems, and Power over Ethernet Media Converters and Switches.
Solutions
The prime requirement for many customers is not just value for money and product quality. A well designed, 'to spec' solution that meets all of the customer's requirements is often even more important. Alloy takes the time to ensure that all the details are discussed and understood. Our sales professionals are technically trained to provide consultancy services, no matter the size and scope of a project. When required, Alloy technical personnel and engineers can become involved in discussions to ensure all relevant aspects of a project are examined and catered for. Our customers appreciate our attention to detail - and the robust, worry free solutions we help deliver.
Supply
Alloy has built up an impressive catalogue of reliable, feature rich and affordable products across the technology areas we are active in. We have consistently maintained a commitment to bringing new technology to our customers in a timely fashion - and when we make a commitment to offer products based on newly developed technology, we retain that commitment much longer than most suppliers. We maintain high stock levels of all key product lines, and a large proportion of our more specialist items are available from stock. Of course, no supplier can be across all technologies and products. If you require a 'hard to source' item, call Alloy - we can usually utilise our extensive contacts with manufacturers around the globe to meet such requests. If your requirement just isn't available, we can discuss the possibility of Alloy designing a solution for you.
Support
The deployment of IT projects doesn't always go to plan. Alloy recognises that supplying top quality technology isn't enough; our customers need to be able to access expert support services when and if required. Alloy's Australia-wide network of Resellers bring their own resources and expertise to the task of front-line support for their customers, to ensure projects are implemented in a timely and professional manner. Where required, Alloy will work jointly with a Reseller partner to resolve any issues needing our direct input.
Service
Alloy's direct customers can access free technical support on all our products. Alloy also offers a comprehensive suite of technical support services and information. Our entire catalog is fully supported for warranty and repair. Many of our products can be further protected through the purchase of an Alloy Extended Warranty Contract - and of course many of our Reseller partners offer their own support services and maintenance contracts.
